So this is the first time I am linking up with Farley at Oh Boy 4th Grade, so here goes...
I am listening to the Twilight Zone marathon on TV. It is definitely a New Year's tradition for my hub and I! We are Twilight Zone junkies, but only when the marathon is on twice a year. We each have our favorites that we look forward to.
I am loving my mani/pedi that I got today. It had been forever since I got my last one...like November, I think! I was a wreck! I also got the caterpillars crawling across my forehead tamed...translation: got my eyebrows waxed. :)
I am thinking that I'm really not ready for school to start on Wednesday. This has been one of the most relaxing breaks I can remember. I think because I got school work done early because I was supposed to be traveling and my plans changed so I was able to relax instead of focusing on school work.
I am wanting my 70 degree temperatures back. I sooooooo dislike the cold. Not that it's terribly cold, but I like 70 degrees or more!
I am needing to review my lesson plans for this week. As I said, I got them done really early and just need to go back and make sure I don't need to get there super early on Wednesday.
My OLW is intentional.
I want to intentionally be proactive instead of reactive.
I want to intentionally exercise more and eat less junk.
I want to intentionally make more time to play.
I want to intentionally be a blessing.
Well, that's it. Sorry it's so wordy! Happy New Year all!

Have a great day tomorrow, Jennifer!
DeleteI'm with you girl..Warm weather, please come back! I've only been in NC for a year and a half- I moved down from Upstate, NY so you think I'd be used to the cold. Nope!! That's why I left! I love your OLW! Kind of makes me think of "purpose".. do everything with purpose!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!
Ashley
Primary Teacherhood
Hey Ashley! I've been in NC for about 6 years...originally from Indiana. I don't think I've ever liked the cold weather! NC was definitely a compromise with my hub since he hates the heat. I'd move even further south if I had the choice. NC is great though, so I think I'll stick around :)
DeleteHave a great day tomorrow!
oops...just saw that you still have a couple more days of break. I have to admit, that I would big, fat, puffy, heart a year round schedule.
DeleteEnjoy the rest of your break!
Happy New Year! I am glad I found your blog and have become a follower. I love your word and your reasons for choosing it. It is only 17 degrees here tonight...70 degrees seems like a distant memory! Stay warm and enjoy your last day of break!

Hi Julie! OMW...17 degrees would just make me sour! I don't know how I lived in Indiana for so long! Oh well. Thanks for the encouragement and for following me :)
DeleteI love the Twilight Zone and have watched it since I was little.
ReplyDeleteI am not a cold weather person either. I am a Texas gal so luckily it doesn't get super duper cold but I still love beach weather more. =)
I am happy to be your newest follower. I would love for you to hop over and visit me when you get the chance. =)

Hi Heather! Do you have a favorite episode of TZ? I love "The Masks", "Kick the Can", and "Willoughby". I really like "All the Time in the World", but it makes me really sad.
DeleteAnywho...Thanks for following me. I'll stop by and return the favor!
Take care!
